Welcome to the Yahoo Group for the Dana Point Harbor community. The members of this group are boaters who, among other things, are interested in helping the Dana Point Harbor Department, the Dana Point City Council, the Department of Boating and Waterways , the State Lands Commission, and the California Coastal Commission to develop and implement the very best revitalization plan.

This group's goal is to share information, facts, data, recommendations..., brainstorming possible solutions, and make our own recommendations to various appropriate organizations.

It is expected that everyone will behave professionally and constructively, remember the goal is to help the various organizations make the best decisions for us. Please no flaming, abusive behavior or behavior that is clearly not in the best interest of the community; or I will be forced to remove you from the list.

This list is a valuable community resource which allows the leadership of Boaters for Dana Point Harbor and the DPBA to stay in touch with the very boaters they strive to represent. Everyone’s participation is encouraged and vital.

It is truly encouraging all of the ideas that we’ve heard for possible solutions that will make Dana Point Harbor the best place on the West Coast to keep your boat, launch your boat, or just watch boats. It is time to involve all boaters and make sure our needs, wants and ideas are heard and acted on. Together we can have a positive impact.

Co-List Moderation by an officer of the DPBA was removed on 8.27.09 at the insistence of the Secretary of the current four Board Members. In the name of boater unity the offer will continue to be extended for open collaboration should the DPBA change their mind.
