The Dallas County Area Homeschoolers is a grassroots group that has been supporting area homeschoolers for over 25 years!!

Homeschool families on here are from Buffalo, Missouri and the surrounding towns, communities and counties such as Louisburg, Goodson, Urbana, Tunas, Lead Mine, Celt, Winchester Gap, Bennett Spring, Windyville, Long Lane, Charity, March, Elkland, Fair Grove, Foose, Halfway as well as the following neighboring counties; Hickory, Polk, Laclede, Camden, Webster & Greene.

Home educators, whether just starting out, or seasoned veterans, are welcomed to share, ask questions and encourage one another on various homeschool methods, styles and problems. "Retired" home educators are not only welcomed but needed to help guide and strengthen the next generation of home educators. Often home educators have little time for extra phone calls and visits but still have a pressing need to connect with one another. It is the moderators' hope that this e-group will help fill the gap that may otherwise go unfilled.

Homeschool teens age 15 and older are encouraged to join www.homeschoolalumni.org to visit with homeschoolers in the area and across the country, as well as Facebook. Dallas County Area Home Education can also be found on Facebook.
