One of the most important purposes of this group is to form a social network of all enlighten Dalits around the world to deliberate on the issues and their solutions in a most democratic way as sought by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. An organization called “International Association for the Advancement of Dalits” was formed at the International Dalit Conference held during May 16-18, 2003 at Vancouver, BC Canada. Members of this group tend to support and help out in forming this special organization for the betterment of Oppressed Dalits in India.
