The DNHC (Denver Northwest Homeschool Community) is an inclusive, non-religiously oriented group of home-educating families.We welcome diversity and depend on the participation and contributions of all members. Most members live in the west area of metro Denver, Colorado, but activities may take place all over town. Our email list is open only to active DNHC members. DNHC VISION STATEMENT

DNHC is a community of home-educating families in north and west Denver and the surrounding neighborhoods. Our members practice a variety of learning/teaching styles. We are not religiously oriented. We do not discriminate against anyone, and we have no particular ideological focus. DNHC members seek creativity, diversity, authenticity and fun in the homeschooling lifestyle for ourselves and our children.

As a community group, our primary intent is that everyone contribute to lend their time and talents to the rest of the group by creating and attending events. We envision a high level of involvement so that there are many options for members.

Because DNHC is a member directed community group, each member family has the right to initiate, discuss and vote upon the group's business and administration. Volunteer positions are rotated in order that responsibility for running the group is shared among members.
