What's Anthrogenealogy? A word coined by
FamilyTreeDNA (FTDNA), pioneer GG DNA testing company. Anthrogenealogy combines two science methods - anthropology, pursued principally academically, and genealogy pursued largely by avocational researchers. Using Molecular Biology to observe genetic lineages to connect unknown family members using and comparing YDNA or mtDNA markers inherited from our parents. Anthrogenealogy is, therefore, our word of choice for studying deep genealogical origins through genetics means.
