Des Moines Cloth Diapering is devoted to helping families make the decision to use cloth diapers, and helping cloth diapering families overcome problems or concerns related to cloth.
We meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 10:00 at the Vineyard Church, 3615 University Ave. (Vineyard shares a building with Redeemer Lutheran. From University, turn North on 37th. The parking lot is to the right. Drive across the parking lot and you'll see the signs pointing to the Vineyard Entrance on the East side of the building.)
At our meetings, we share tips, show cloth diapering basics, answer questions, and support each other in whatever way we can. You probably never realized just how much fun it can be to diaper your baby, but we here at the CDC are spreading the love!!
Why should I use cloth?
There are so many reasons to use cloth. Cloth is cheaper, it's better for the environment, it's better for babies, and it really is fun. Come learn more about cloth by attending one of our meetings.
If you are not able to attend our meetings, but would like to learn more about cloth diapering, look at real cloth diapers, or talk to cloth diapering parents, please send me an email at sarah @ wallypop.net (no spaces).
CLOTH DIAPER GARAGE SALE FEB 5
February's meeting will be our semi-annual Garage Sale. Please bring
any diapers you don't want any more, marked with the price, and bring
change. Each seller is responsible for their own stuff. I'll also be
collecting donations for Miracle Diapers, if you have things that
don't sell or that you just want to donate to families in need.
This year, I am asking anyone who brings things to sell to
please donate $2 to Des Moines Cloth Diapering. (This is not required,
but strongly encouraged.) I'll be handing the collected money over to
Vineyard Church to defray any costs they may incur as a result of our presence.
AND be sure to bring money if you're looking for second hand diapers!!
