MEETING AGENDA
1. Welcome and Initial Comments.
2. Previous meeting minutes.
3. Appoint secretary to take minutes.
4. Public Comment on Non-agenda items
5. Announcement concerning Parking Day to be
held Friday September 19th. No action.
6. Announcement concerning California State
Park Access Pass. No action.
7. Presentation by Dr. Kim Williams concerning
the donation by the Rotary club of a public clock. Community input is
requested in recommending a location.
8. Presentation by Gunnar Hand concerning
two projects: a tree planting project for the entire downtown neighborhood
council district, and an area-wide mural program. No action.
9. Additional discussion on the previous
presentation by Dramastage concerning Downtown LA Summer Theatre in the Parks.
Possible action: Recommendation for donation to the program.
10. Additional discussion on the previous
presentation by Elizabeth Peterson concerning the PAL program for at risk
youths. Possible action: Recommendation for donation to the
program.
11. Additional discussion about the late
night cycling event. Recommendations are needed as to how we can become a
non-monetary sponsor of the cycling event.
12. Future agenda items.

The public is requested
to fill out a “Speaker Card”
to address the DLANC Planning & Land Use Committee (Committee) on any item
of the agenda prior to the Committee taking action on an item. Comments from
the public on agenda items will be heard only when the respective item is being
considered. Comments from the public on other matters not appearing on the
agenda that is within the Committee’s subject matter jurisdiction will be
heard during the public comment period. Public comment is limited to 2
minutes per speaker, unless waived by the presiding officer of the Committee.
