Welcome to Do It Yourself CNC!

This group is for those who wish to explore the design, construction, and use of homemade, or home retrofitted CNC machines.

Mills, Lathes, Hexapods and special purpose machines, as well as Drives and Electronics; Software and Controls, are all welcome discussion topics.

Topics will include CAD, CAM, DRO, and the USE of the machines in a small shop environment. That small shop may be in your garage, bedroom, or rented space. It may be for profit, or just for fun.

We do not aim to be a general machining group; there are other places for that.
We are not here to solve the business problems of the small shop. (Unless it's gonna be solved by making your own CNC machine!<G>)
