Welcome to the DFW Affirmation Group!

Affirmation is a social and support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and inter-sexed (LGBTI) individuals with a Mormon background. Whether your journey toward self-discovery has just begun, or if you’ve been "out" for awhile, you are welcome here. We respect each person's process and privacy without judgment.

DFW Affirmation is a group within the Affirmation: Gay and Lesbian Mormons organization and serves the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Affirmation (www.affirmation.org) is not a religious organization. Affirmation is not affiliated with the Mormon Church. Affirmation offers emotional support, social interaction, education, and literature on issues concerning LGBTI Mormons.

We meet once a month with the dates, times and venues announced here. Our meetings consist of discussion, educational videos, dinners/social interactions and so on. Our purpose is to enlighten, lift and support our members through our common bond as LGBTI Mormons.
