This group is for only the parents and professionals related with the DEAF Autreat. This means the deaf or hearing parents of deaf autistic children OR deaf parents with CODA children with autism OR professionals working with deaf autistic children. If this is YOU, you are more than welcome to join this group to give your ideas, suggestions, resources or feedbacks.

This main purpose of this group is to discuss the plans for the next DEAF Autreat to which many of us are already looking forward. We still have many things we need to accomplish before this can come true. April is Autism Awareness Month!

We all went home feeling much more comfortable and confident, after an awesome weekend at Camp Lakodia, South Dakota on April 6-9, 2006. If you would like to come to the next one or if you have any inputs you would like to share with us all about deaf autism, you are welcome to join this group too.

You are also welcome to give others reinforcements in this group as this also could be our support group�, especially since we did not get enough of that at the Autreat!
