From: "Richard J." <Have you seen the movie yet?>

I am not sure if I will see it. If we are talking about a lot of romance and
Lex Luthor and his lame kryptonite it sounds deadly boring.

I realize the special effects with the plane are supposed to be outstanding,
but saving a plane is not what I want to see from Superman.

Where are the supervillains? And why have Lex Luthor in every movie? I never
was #3 or #4 which were comedy movies, but wasn't Luthor in those also?

Spoiler Teen Titans V3 #37

The last page of Teen Titans #37 was so intense!!Between Tim and
Cassie. How could anyone have
suspected?!! It seems as if they found something common between them
and the moment just gave way. What would Conner say?
Robin is obsess with Conner. He lost his cool when clonning attemp #99
failed. And that was so unbecoming him.
Do you people think there canbe something between Tim and Cassie?

That's really hard to say. I really liked his "Fourth World" stuff, but, it'll still take quite a bit to top his FF and Thor stuff at Marvel during the good old Lee/Kirby days.

Jack kirby in his Marvel days (inked by Chic Stone, Joe Sinott, & Dick Ayres) and a little bit of DC (inked by Mike Royer). I myself always hated Vince Colletta inking on The King's artwork.

Do we see any motion pictures being made today of the New Gods, OMAC
or Kamandi?

Do we hear about any plans for these movies on the drawing board?

Well, thats popularity-wise. Now artistically, my brother always felt
that Jack could draw machinery extremely well.

"But then there was his writing on stories, . . . "

"He was a very good writer. I loved his writing."

"Be quiet. His writing skills lacked depth, originality."

"I want to be a writer just like him someday."

"Bah! He failed to suit me."

Jack seemed to understand that the concept that Kryptonians were the
mightiest beings in the galaxy was over-blown and that it didn't take
Kryptonite to always have to bring Superman down.

Story-wise, my favorite Kirby story must be the Eternals annual at
Marvel, and how a supporting character, Thena, would go off with
Karkas and Reject, and give very interesting insight into what was
accepted physically and what was feared.

i am mostly expecting that routh's superman returns would somehow a
sequel to reeve's superman I-IV...

BUT HOW COME--
lois doesnt know Clark is Supe?

i remember reeve being in a chamber to be immortal. it left an
impression that the supe-costume is actually not removable for clark
and lois to have sex [afterwards].

actually, 'returns' could not pass as a sequel to other superman
movies. it's like 'returns' has a story of its own when it comes to
lois-clark love story [where 'returns' eventually evolved anyway]....

by the way, is jason the "Eradicator"? just wondering...

but the movie is all technically and visually pleasant than the
previous movies [as expected]..

thanks.

I hope that Batwoman soon converts Batgirl to the joys of Sapphic Love. I would

Did anyone check this out on the Sci Fi channel?

It started off with twelve heroes, but one of them, Rotiart, was
a 'traitor' who spied on the heroes and got un-heroic comments from
them.

One of them, Levity, was a toymaker who wanted to make an action
figure after himself. Stan voted that guy off.

Five men, five women.

They had to change into their hero garb and run to a small archway,
but there was a little girl crying for her mother. Only four of them,
and only one guy, Major Victory, stopped to help the girl.

Stan puts three of the hero-wannabees on the chopping block and takes
out only one of them.

This time, he took out Nitro G, who changed into his hero garb in
broad daylight with people watching.

Next, an elderly woman is locked out of her house and the heroes have
to get the door open, but the yard is full of pit bulls.

They are wearing padded costumes, but it still looks to be fun.

The heroes seem to be getting more than they expected. They thought
it was going to be fun and dressing up, but are you going to argue
with the Man about what it takes to be a hero?

Stan tells you you didn't make it, then that's it.

The said the show would either be a big hit or a big bust - no in-between. I wasn't sure myself if it would be any good but then, I'm not into the survivor stuff, the dance stuff, or the reality series they've tried to take over the networks with but I wanted to watch this show because I am a DC and Marvel fan. I was actually surprised and impressed by it. But then, that's my 2 cents. *lol*

Also, what ROCKET SCIENTIST decided to give Captain Marvel to Judd Winick? Winick is... well, awful I guess. Rotten. Worse than Geoff Johns, even. ANd who the hell is this Dan Dildo or whatever he's called, and why do we have to see an oversized photo of his oversized head on the back page of all the comics, this pointless DC Nation crap-- which he calls "writing a column." I've felt that way for a while now.

I prefer going to Ebay and buying 40 year old comic books for 99
cents (finding old funny animal books this cheap that are nearly half
a century old) as opposed to looking at some high grade paper that
makes the book cost 5 or 6 dollars and the story and artwork are
awful, and the more expensive book is smaller than what I just got
off of Ebay, as well as a Woody Woodpecker story will have more going
for it than anything I find that is 'new'.

With that in mind, how about this? What was the last comic book
story, series or whatever, that you actually liked.

For me, it was the All Star comics maxi-series with the WWII heroes
split into pairs in each book, fighting some big boogedy nameless bad
guy and Roy Thomas wasnt allowed anywhere near the series.

I had spent nearly 25 years waiting to see a good story with DC's
WWII heroes and finally got it. It shocked me so badly, I couldnt
look at the JSA spinoff series, I was terrified it would suck rotten
eggs, no matter how many people told me it was good.

For me it was probably the early issues of The Question, back in the late
1980s? I also enjoyed Azrael taking over when Batman got beaten-up; but that
went downhill fast since Azrael went insane.

Fairly simple. Then seek to emphasize the positive helping tones a
bit more than you have done.

If anything worked against this movie, it was all the 'are they or
aren't they?' allegations going on behind the scenes.

You toy with people too much to the point where they go see a movie
and then say they liked a movie so they can be blind-sided
with "guess what? The actor was gay!" which had nothing to do with
the movie, but then they have to be handed "well, what difference
does it make? Why is it important to you?" when it wasn't to begin
with, then it will cause them to look elsewhere, not because of
homophobia, but because of failure to present the total picture.

Movie-wise, I thought it brought nothing new to the table.

It airs again tonight.

Iron Enforcer, Ty'veculus, Major Victory, Creature, Fat Mamma, Monkey
Woman, Cell Phone Girl, Feedback & Lemuria remain.

People on other sites are cheesed off that Levity was kicked off 'its
because he was gay' and Iron Enforcer has remained when he said he
wanted to kill people.

Tonight is supposed to be the getting thru the yard full of pit
bulls. Two of them will be removed.

Knowing Stan as we do (and honestly, looking back over the first
episode, I think Stan is holding back), I'll be surprised if he don't
kick out Cell Phone Girl.

Stan aint going to keep someone who just doesnt say 'superhero' first
of all, and clearly he didn't like satirical guys like Levity or guys
not taking it seriously like Nitro G.

Cell Phone Girl?

And alas, she may have sincerity, but I'll be surprised if Fat Mamma
makes it very far. Again, she isnt what we know Stan considers a
hero.

She had donuts hanging on her belt in the first episode.

It's already being said (again on other rumor sites) that Major
Victory is the winner.

What is he supposed to be? A Dark Horse character?

Iron Enforcer is going to be his own worst enemy in the end.

I can't imagine why Ty'veculus or Feedback would be kicked off
(neither of them stopped to help the little girl tho).

Lemuria is the question mark. She was put in by fan vote.

You can view my blog, my photos, my lists - and all sorts of things that matter
to me (like photos of me jacking-off). You can create a personal page and blog
of your own, which will be linked to mine (Friends til the end). That way
you'll always know when I post something new (and who wouldn't want to know
that??).

Anyhow, thanks for reading my spam. Participating on this list would have taken
too much of my time and energy, since I have joined about 200 other lists and
spammed them too.

In Supe 1, Lois and Reeve flew.. Reeve let go of Lois' one hand, Lois balanced, flew for a couple of seconds.........................when she should have parachuted, cupsided, or at least tumbled sideway.................................

Supe Returns avoided this mistake, so Lois stepped on Routh.

You went to see the movie.

Not the actor.

Not to know what they eat, what their orientation are.

We should remove this mentality not only in movies but in other media like music. Judge a song by the lyrics and the rhythm. Do not dump a beautiful song because the singer had gotten pregnant at an early age or the singer had chosen to pose for a men's mag. You can do an analogy.

About the movie.. Hmmm.. The movie Superman Returns did follow the trend of --Lois getting always in trouble-- as a safe move just to connect to previous supe movies. I hate Lex being corny in the movie. I think Lex of Smallville is more effective being a villain. Last but not the least, from Supe Returns, let us appreciate the minimal flaws in physics Supe 1-4 failed to deliver <Lois is not aerodynamic. She should --at an instant-- tumbled when Reeve let go of her other hand.>
