Based on the cover art, the Zvezda Medieval Mounted Russians might suffice.

These arrived today and they are feckin' awesome!

The usual sort of stuff from Caesar, undercuts and anazing details, a variety of
cuirasses, linothoraxes just beautiful.

Nice poses and very useful. Some pictures on the "field of battle" website
suggests they're quite compatible with the Zvezda figures, so looks like a WAB
hoplite army in the new year.

A polish company, can't remember the name does some in metal.

I used the armoured cossacks from the Orion Cossack set as a partial substitute

Hey, Tom,
That shouldn't be a problem, but I have seen posters on other groups put "AD" on
the subject line so everyone knows it's an advert from the get-go.
How can you part with your little troopers?!  Your heart must be breaking!

Best regards,

I hope i dont step on anyones toe's by asking?

I do have some figures i'd like to get rid of ,i know they are somewhat sought
after here and i'd rather they go to a fellow 1/72 wargamer/enthusiast like
myself than a cheap purchase for some little grot to play with in the sandpit.

They are the Revell TYW cavalry sets:
2 x TYW Swedish Cav sets ( 1 x still in shrinkwrap, the 2nd painted many years
ago with Humbrol enamel with no undercoat so the paint is literally peeling
off).
2 x TYW Austrian Dragoons sets ( 1 x still on the sprue , the 2nd removed from
sprue but otherwise untouched ).

sell as one lot

I'm not trying to make a profit on these , just my money back but they did cost
me a fair bit awhile back.

cheers Tom

No, but the Egyptians could pass for....Egyptians. There was an Egyptian
contingent fighting alongside the Turks in Bulgaria in 1877. Their uniform is
basically the same as for when they were later under GB control.

Is there any way of purchasing these figures without having to buy the big box

Any one any ideas?

Hi, sorry about your experience. I have dealt with John at Ye Olde Toy Soldiers
for about 7 years or so. I have only had an issue once and he solved it for me.
I have made orders from 29 bucks to 500. I would HEARTILY recommend him as a
Seller.

Thanks,

John

many parts were missing because of this. Needless to say most of the models

Not my experience at all - I've ordered from them many times over the years,
and I've never had an error. Their customer service was very good in my case
- they contacted me on more than one occasion to let me know that a set of
figures on an order were not in stock, and that they could ship them
together later, or ship everything except the out-of-stock item.

Those are great sets. I don't have any yet, but I want some. I keep
hoping to find some on sale or something!

The new Caesar Miniatures are great too. I got the US Army set 1 WWII,
the German Paratroopers and the German Panzer Grenadiers set 2. I have
posted some photos on my bunkermeister blog and will do more soon.

The new Italeri sets look great also. The Anti-Tank Teams set has loads
of good stuff, but ironically, few actual AT weapons!
