This is a spousal support group for people who are deafblind and their non-DB spouses or partners. Disabilities may be severe enough to interfere with normal conversation and daily activities. Members of this group often face unique challenges and are encouraged to share their experiences, swap helpful tips and ideas, and to give each other positive support. Hopefully, members will gain the strength, understanding, and humor that is vitally needed to be able to deal with their non-DB or DB spouses and partners in a more loving and caring way.

Membership is subject to group approval and is restricted to only those who meet the eligibility criteria as stated above AND who agree to honor and respect the confidentiality of all group members and issues discussed.

Your friendly host is Harvey Bond, a hearing-sighted Canadian whose wife Melanie is deafblind. Harvey enjoys reading, writing, and scavenging for treasures. His two co-moderators who help him run this group are his wife Melanie Bond and fellow member Peter Manser of Australia.
