Welcome to DB-Gold in Life, a general topic discussion group for deafblind people and any other interested persons who wish to join us! Just as gold reflects a higher standard of excellence, we hope that deafblind members of this group will reflect a higher standard of excellence in life. We encourage members to dig for the “gold in life” by sharing inspirational life stories and experiences, words of wisdom, poetry, love, passion and humor, favorite recipes, and helpful tips and ideas for everyday living that will reflect more goodness, quality and value in life. The more you give and share with others, the more “gold in life” you’ll find! We’d love to have you join us if this is your cup of tea! Your friendly hostess is Melanie Bond of Sierra Vista, Arizona. Melanie has Usher Syndrome and enjoys family, friends, cooking, reading, writing and traveling. Her two co-moderators who help her keep everything running smoothly is her hearing-sighted hubby Harvey Bond and fellow member Peter Manser of Australia.
