Je to mozne vlozit neco NA neco misto DO neceho? A co Z neceho?

I've got these weird sentences that seem to call for a worker to
vlozit something onto the surface of part of an electronic device,
which strikes me as pretty weird.

Example: "Na kontaktní plochu displeje XXY vlozit dle obrázku 2b.
kontaktní gumu."

Another example: "Z displeje XXY sundat ochranou fólii a vlozit jej z
vnitrní strany vrchního plastu."

In that second one, they seem to be vloziting something FROM something!

Can someone help me make sense of this?

Jamie
