90kW engine is not enough to overcome the resistance and weight - it will run into problems above 120 km/h....

The latter. It literally means that at these speeds, the engine was less and less able to cope with the aerodynamic resistance and the car weight. [I know this...

And just who thinks that 90 kW is too little for a car to move at speeds over 100 km/h?? Even large vans and trucks with 2-3 t load capability have engines...
