The cycling working party will assist in the development of a cycling strategy
and action plan for Newcastle, in accordance with the Council's resolution of
Feb17 2009.

Stop getting annoyed by cars:
Unsign-posted "bike picture lanes" are too narrow; Road Rules 153 & 247 advise
not to ride in them. They are car-door-opening-death lanes! When passing parked
cars, 30m beforehand, check for cars, then safely move a bit so you are away
from door opening zone.
