Newcastle Cycleways Movement was formed in 1977 as a community based group to work with State and Local Government bodies to improve bicycle facilities in the Greater Newcastle Area. Its aims are to promote the safe responsible use of bicycles for transport, leisure and fitness. Members get bike riding insurance, newsletters, discounts, rides, legal advice, and more.
