This group was established to assist family researchers with their CRIPPEN, CRIPPIN, GRIPPEN and GRIPPIN surname ancestry. Members can send email to the list address: Crippen-Ancestry@yahoogroups.com and it will go out to all members (replies also!).

Because of some recent abusive spam for people joining Yahoo Groups just to send spam email, we are now monitoring all memberships and messages. Sorry, but we have a lot of families in our group and we just have to be very careful.

HOW TO JOIN THIS GROUP: If you are new to YAHOO GROUPS - you will need to become a member (click on the JOIN BUTTON ) to gain access to this entire area. If you are already a member of another Yahoo Group you should sign in with your Yahoo ID and then click on the JOIN BUTTON.

Please remember no one has access here that is not a member. If you're curious about "Yahoo Groups" PRIVACY policy - you'll find it below. So I would encourage members to Register with Yahoo Groups and then fill in your profile so others can see which line you're working on.

There are quite a few things you can do while you are here:

1) Fill in your PROFILE. This is opportunity to post your Crippen line of interest as there is a field to "tell us about yourself." Again, remember only members will have access to this member listing. It's NOT available to the public. See Yahoo Groups privacy and no spam policies below.

2) If you'd like to share a file with all of the cousins, you can post that here under the Files section. I would suggest an RTF file (Rich Text Format) so that it is cross platform and then even us MAC users will be able to read it.
