The importance of the creative process, especially in women, has been the subject of many books. The purpose of this group to provide a network of support with others who are also nuturing the creative process within themselves.

Every other month, the group will read a biography or memoir about a woman who has successfully developed her creative abilities. Along with books about famous artists, writers, actors,etc., we will read about the not-so-famous women who can provide insight into their creative journey. On alternating months, we will read a self-help book on creativity, and if members wish to, share some of our own creative work.

We have been a silent group for several years now. This has been my fault. Life and all of its unexpected turns has kept me too busy and I had to let some things go.

If anyone is interested in restarting this group, please let me know. I have several books in mind and welcome any suggestions.
