TRANTER
ELIZABETH GUY
Of Friendship Village, Upper st. Clair, died on Tuesday April 19, 2005 at the
age of 101. She was the Beloved wife of W. Parke Tranter; devoted mother of
William Parke Tranter, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Mt. Lebanon; loving
grandmother of Jennifer Guy Tranter and Elizabeth Parke Tranter.
Mrs. Tranter was born on June 15, 1903, the daughter of William S. and Mary E.
Guy of Crafton.
She was a graduate of Sweetbriar College and a district manager for the American
Field Service Program during the 1950's and 1960's. She was a member of
Southminster Presbyterian Church, the Twentieth Century Club and the Iron City
Fishing Club.
A Memorial Service will be held in the St. Clair room of Friendship Village,
Sunday afternoon April 24 at 4 o'clock. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials ay be made to Southminster Presbyterian Church,
