Donald W. Blacka, 92, of Asbury Heights, Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Bethel Park,
West View and Crafton, on Friday, May 14, 2004. Born in Connellsville, PA.
Graduated High School from Crafton (1929) and the Pittsburgh School of
Accounting (1933).

Donald was employed as an accountant with Shenango Furnace Co. 1929-36, National
Lead & Oil Co. 1936-44, Auditor for Superior Steel Corp. 1944-59, and Division
Controller for Copperweld 1959-70. Lifelong leadership in community service
included National Association of Accountants, (currently IMA) McLeod Society
member, Crafton Rotary, Crafton Borough Council, Crafton Methodist Church and
Salem Methodist Church, Wexford and the Elks.

Donald was pre-deceased by his wife, Elizabeth M., whom he married in 1936,
Gloria Grejda, married 1979, and dearest friend Margaret "Peg" Lee of Wexford.
He is lovingly survived by his daughter, Joanne B. LaRosa of Bethel Park,
grandsons Mark R. LaRosa of McMurray, PA, Brian J. LaRosa of Hollywood, CA and
three great grandchildren, Jaclyn M., Nicole A. and Anthony M. LaRosa of
McMurray. Brother of the late Louis Blacka.

Funeral Arrangements by BEINHAUERS, Friends welcome at 2630 West Liberty Avenue
Dormont, (412) 531-4000 SUNDAY ONLY 1-4 & 7-9 PM. Memorial Service Monday at 1
PM in First Bethel United Methodist Church. Family suggests memorial
