Covenant Dispensational Debating Group. Which one is more biblical, the Covenant of Grace, or Scolfield's Dispensations (really, Darby's)? This group is dedicated to the rational and mature debate amongst Born-Again Saved Christians on such weighty theological issues that divide the modern Evangelical Church. Just like Apples and Oranges both principles of biblical interpretation purports to bring us closer to God, but do they? Let's debate with grace and intellectual honesty. For the purposes of this Club, Reformed are all of those Churches that have strict Calvinistic Principles (all 5 points of Calvinism) and adhere to the Covenant of Grace or Doctrines of Grace. These include the churches that adhere to the various ancient Protestant Reformed Confessions of Faith, such as the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, the Athanasian Creed, the Definition of Chalcedon, the Belgic Confession of Faith, the Canons of Dort, the Heidelberg Catechism, the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Larger Catechism, the Shorter Catechism, the Children's Catechism, the Savoy Declaration, the London Confession of Baptist Faith, the Thirty-nine Articles of Religion, the Lausanne Covenant, the Manila Manifesto, and the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy. (See www.grace.org.uk/faith/ to review all confessions mentioned herein.) Arminian Churches which include all churches that adhere to the principles of Dispensationalism, see the Second Chapter of Acts as the true birth of Christ's Church, and who adhere to the eschatological view of Pretribulationism which distinguishes clearly between Israel and the church and their respective programs (this distinction characterizes dispensationalism with its pretribulation view of the Rapture) such as the Methodists, Regular Baptists, all Free Wills, Pentecostals, et al.
