A group for those who have a courtesan persona within the SCA, or just have an interest in the history of courtesans, courtly ladies, the role of women in the Renaissance, or Venice and her history in general. Courtesan personae of other countries are also most welcome. THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION FORUM FOR ALTERNATE LIFESTYLES OR MODERN-DAY "COURTESANS". Discussion on any subject relating to the relevant topics is welcome, and might encompass such subjects as garb (we talk about garb *a lot*), customs, history, sexuality, music, art, food...the list is endless. Courtesy and respect for all is expected.
