Courage Reparation Online is an internet extension of the Courage Reparational Groups founded by Vera in 1992 on Staten Island. The purpose of this group is not about "reorientation" or "reparative therapy", but to answer a vocational call to pray, fast and sacrifice in Reparation for sins against human sexuality in the spirit of Fatima.
In line with our CRG Mission Statement, we adhere to a theology of weakness: standing with Mary at the foot of the Cross, we offer our SSA and homoemotional struggles in an espousal union with Christ's Passion, so that from our sinful tendencies we are transformed into beams of light, hope and holiness for those who are still lost and confused in the disordered passions of the homosexual lifestyle. This is the very concept of Reparation as a call to a "deeper step" into the Interior Life within Courage.
Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception is our Patroness & Head Moderator and Fr Terry is our Chaplain. As a moderated ListServ, CRO gives an opportunity to learn about the significance attached to our Marian founding dates, grow in the Interior Life, participate in discussions on the theology of weakness and attend prayer meetings in our virtual chapel. Beside serving the purpose of a support group for people with same-s*x attraction wishing to live chastely, we also identify as a "lay vocational community" within the Courage Apostolate, and therefore we require of members a strong commitment to:

- adherence to the 12 Steps & 5 Goals of Courage;

- weekly Holy Hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament;

- daily Rosary;

- daily Divine Mercy Chaplet or Stations of the Cross;

- discrete acts of mortification under the supervision of a spiritual director.
