Anything involving County Cork genealogy or families is acceptable including "longer postings" of history, tithe listings, parish data, Griffith's data, etc. Naturally, everybody has a basic undertanding of the limitations of copyright laws in some instances. Common sense should prevail.The only thing that is discouraged on the list, is obnoxious, disrespectful behavior that is clearly contentious, or postings on a continuing basis that are clearly not related to County Cork genealogy. In such cases, if the problem is a protracted one, then the community will discuss what is an appropriate action to take. Hopefully, that would be rarely or never. We're all adults, and all potentially reasonable people if we want to be. Nothing should interfer with our love of Cork Genealogy, and certainly nothing should make anybody similarly disposed feel unwelcome or uncomfortable.
