This list is for anyone, city or country dweller, who a wants to become self sufficient by discovering ways to save, simplify, consume less, be kind to our planet, and utilize, reuse, or recycle every available resource. We provide information to those who are yearning to live the back to basics and self-reliant lifestyle that our grandparents and great grandparents had.
Talk and share your ideas and tips about homemaking, gardening, off grid living, surviving the economic crisis, farm life, DYI (do it yourself) repairing and home improvements, decorating, making your own crafts, gifts, soap, candles, growing your own food, beekeeping, hunting and fishing, raising or breeding fish, farm animals and pets, butchering, once a month cooking, ( OAMC ) old time recipes, homemade mixes, country cooking, smart shopping, frugal living, money saving and stretching your dollar ideas, food storage, canning, freezing, drying foods, voluntary simplicity, alternative and natural health. The list provides information on herbs and their uses, plant identification, foraging, wildcrafting, survival skills, primitive living, and everything out doors. We make every effort to be less dependent upon big businesses and municipalities and find alternative ways to better care for our bodies, our families, our homes, and our land. We are environmentally friendly and interested in greener living. Come on in and sit a spell. You will find a warm and friendly group. If you enjoy Foxfire books you will like this list.
