Before anyone asks, no I am not going to be checking IDs and
strictly enforcing the "under 40" guideline. The point is to have a
social club where people who are younger than middle aged can meet
other people in our age group, since the vast majority of other
expats here are so much older than us and most have very different
lifestyles, interests, life experiences, and energy levels.

If you are on the edge and wondering whether it would be appropriate
for you to join, take a good look at yourself and your life and ask
yourself whether you'd really fit in with a bunch of teens,
twentysomethings, and thirtysomethings. If you have kids our age,
probably not. (But please do tell your kids about us!)
