The timeshare marketing practices of Copeland Marketing (a.k.a their various aliases: Elite Vacation Marketing, or World Wide Vacation Realty, or New Horizons Marketing Corp - in Atlanta - for a short time, or International Travel Corp. - in Daytona Beach) were under investigation as of May '06 by Florida's Att. General, Economic Crimes Div. On 01-11-07 the FL AG announced a voluntary agreement with Jason & Andrea Lunt, exposing a list of their deceptive marketing practices! (Spring of 2006: "Vicky", a former CMC telemarketer but person of conscience, exercised great courage at personal cost to blow the whistle, creating a groundswell of complaints and precipitating the "investigation" by the AG.)

I contracted with CMC in Sept '05 to market two timeshares - with zero results - then discovered "Vicky." After conversations with others, including legal authorities and Copeland leaders themselves to help drill down to the truth, I applied appropriate "pressure" and they refunded me in Aug '06 - one of the first to obtain such results. I then agreed with "Vicky" to start this advocacy group and our collective efforts have sustained this effort and information flow.

Millions of dollars have been swindled from customers trying to sell or rent their timeshares via Copeland. Though the FL AG required verifiable, documented complaints be filed by the end of May, 2007 in order to obtain a refund, NONE were issued to this group since!
