LET HIM KNOW

"...And let the wife see that she respects and reverences her husband-
-that she notices him, regards him, honors him; prefers him,
venerates and esteems him; and that she defers to him, praises him,
and loves and admires him exceedingly."
Ephesians 5:33b (AMP)

This weekend, as the United States honors those who have given their
lives fighting for our country, take time to honor your officer who
fights the war of crime right here on the streets of our nation! Let
him know how proud you are of him and how much you admire him as a
peace officer!

Peace officers have a thankless job and rarely get a pat on the back.
They witness more death and destruction in one year than most of us
will see in a lifetime. They have to deal with the unforgiving media,
the public's lack of understanding, the uncertainty of every call,
and courts that sometimes let offenders off. It's easy to see how our
law enforcement officers can get cynical and jaded. But you, his
wife, can counter that at home!

One of the biggest needs your man has is to be admired by you, his
wife. Yes, your big strong cop needs to hear YOUR words of
admiration! Tell him you are proud of him as a cop. Let him know that
his work is making a difference in the world. Make sure he knows that
you appreciate his abilities as a protector. And while you are at it,
tell him how hot he looks in his uniform (or suit if he isn't a
uniformed officer)! (You know he'll love that!)

Take every opportunity you get to convey your admiration,
appreciation, and pride in your officer!

PRAYER: Father, thank you for our law enforcement officers. Thank
you for their wives who are the support behind the badge. Help these
ladies to build up their husbands and to support them througout their
careers! Bless each couple! In Jesus' name, amen.
