LOVERS FOREVER...Part 5 "S E X ... IT WAS GOD'S IDEA!"

"For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and
shall cleave to his wife; and they shall become one flesh."
Genesis 2:24 (NAS)

Did you know that God is interested in your sex life? The devil will
try to tell you that sex isn't a spiritual issue. OH YES IT IS!! Sex
was God's idea! This week, we will address God's interest in sex;
next time we will discuss how to spice it up and ENJOY it more!!

When you married and came together sexually, you became ONE. United,
you became multiple times stronger in your ability to wreak havoc on
Satan's kingdom! Making love is the deepest level of unity that a
husband and wife can experience... it's no wonder Satan tries to keep
married couples out of bed with each other!!

Let's look at what the Word of God says about married sex.
1Corinthians 7:3-4 says that when married, your body is not your own.
Demanding sex or withholding it is to violate the Word! Your bodies
belong to each other now, and you need to consider each other's
sexual needs and how to fulfill them.

Read further in verse 5 and you find that the Word says that married
couples are not to put too much time between sexual encounters with
one another. When you have long periods of time without sexual
intimacy, it opens the door for Satan to provide temptation. Although
you both may be thoroughly committed to the marriage, why put you or
your officer in the position of having to fight even more temptation!

Your officer won't even be tempted to look at a badge bunny when he
has his wife as his lover!! Strengthen the bonds of your marriage by
making love to him often! In doing so, you will also be obeying God's
Word!

PRAYER: Father, I pray for each of these pairs of married lovers!
Reveal to them the depth of unity in making love, and help them to
fulfill each other's sexual needs. Protect their marriages and bind
them together so that they will be lovers forever! In Jesus' name,
amen.
