Next week is National Police Week. This is the perfect time to give
some extra praise and admiration to YOUR officer!

Your husband NEEDS your words of encouragement and support! As you
know, he doesn't get a lot of "thank you's" or affirmation on the
job. When the pressures of the job discourage him, you can make all
the difference in his outlook!

Make a point of letting him know that you are proud of him for what
he does as an officer! Praise his courage and dedication! Thank him
for his provision! Tell him how good he looks in that uniform!
Verbally admire him! Be his biggest fan!

A man's identity is closely tied to his job. When you express
admiration and appreciation for the work that he does, you'll be
amazed at what it does for his self-esteem and attitude!

Your husband needs you, ladies! Let him know that his home and his
wife are a refuge from the pressures of the job!

PRAYER: Father, we are thankful for these law enforcement husbands
who have such integrity, courage, and dedication to serving our
communities! Help the wives to be their biggest support, their
biggest encouragers, and their biggest fans! Protect and nurture
their marriages! In Jesus' name, amen.
