WHEN YOU ARE AFRAID.....


Ladies, you may sometimes worry or become anxious over the safety of your
husband while he is on duty. When that happens, I want you to QUICKLY turn to
the Word of God (the Bible)! The Word of God is very specific and all-inclusive
about God's protection for your officer. Consider this:

Psalm 18:29 "For by Thee I can run upon a troop; and by my God I can leap over a
wall."
***God enables your husband to prevail when he is outnumbered, and to scale a
wall during a footchase!

Isaiah 52:12b "The Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your
rear guard."
***God is your husband's point man, the first to enter a high risk situation.
God is also his rear guard, the last man on the entry team who watches the
team's back to make certain no threats sneak up. Do you have a visual picture of
this in your mind ladies??!! This is a verse you want to pray for your
husband... "Father, be his point man and rear guard today!"

Psalm 91:5-7 "You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow
that flies by day; of the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, or of the
destruction that lays waste at noon. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten
thousand at your right hand, but it shall not approach you."
***God is with your husband on EVERY shift, regardless of day or night! And even
if death and destruction are all around him, God's protection surrounds him!

Psalm 91:11 "He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all
your ways."
***Angels are dispatched by God to be your husband's backup! Picture him
surrounded by warrior angels! He's never alone!

Psalm 91:15 He will call upon Me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in
trouble. I will rescue him and honor him."
***When your husband gets into a dangerous situation, God will answer his calls
for help (and your calls for help for your husband)! God is his rescuer!

Isaiah 30:21 "And your ears will hear a word behind you, 'This is the way, walk
in it' whenever you turn to the right or to the left."
***God will guide your husband's steps, even when he goes into unknown
situations, because God knows what's up ahead!


Ladies, these scriptures should have you shouting for joy! Pray the above
scriptures as prayers, inserting your husband's name! Pray with confidence and
let your heart be at peace!
