| Notes: | Hi all, This Saturday will be the first clean-up of the spring season! Please swing by and lend a hand! There are two reasons this clean-up is a particularly important one: First, we'll be tackling the chip build-up along the outer Maspeth Avenue fence. The raised chip level was part of the cause of the tragic accident over the winter. Secondly, Parks Department has offered to send two of their very hardworking employees to help us out. I'd love to take advantage of their help to make some real progress, while showing Parks that we appreciate their involvement. The clean-up schedule is loose and we'll be there for several hours, starting at 11am. It's fine to just come by and help for as long as you can. Every little bit helps, after all. It’s supposed to be nice and sunny on Saturday, too. We need a volunteer to pick up the box of coffee and doughnut holes from Dunkin on Graham. Please send me a message if you'll take that on. I'll reimburse you that morning from Cooper Bark funds. Thanks! -Dave | |
