Cookbooks EtCetera (CBETC) is a lively group of dedicated cookbook collectors from all over the USA plus several other countries. We hope you'll decide to join the group and share your love of collecting with us. If you read a cookbook like a novel, you're among friends. If you "hear" cookbooks calling your name at bookstores, library sales or garage sales, you're one of us. If you are searching for a special book, we will try to help. We have a lot of cookbook discussions, post reviews of our favorite cookbooks and do fun things such as cookbook swaps or sales. We've even compiled a few group cookbooks, full of recipes submitted by our members. We are not a recipe group and for the most part, the only recipes you'll find are those included with a cookbook review.

IF YOU ARE JOINING IN ORDER TO SHARE OR RECEIVE RECIPES, THIS IS NOT THE GROUP FOR YOU.

We are a very friendly group and we get to know one another quickly. There is an introduction requirement for new members, meaning that within two weeks of joining, each person is required to post an introduction to let the other members know you have joined. It may be long or short but it's important and those who are unable to meet this requirement will be unsubbed. We like to know who has decided it would be fun to join CBETC; you will be warmly welcomed. There will be NO flaming tolerated, on or off the list. The same is true for spamming or harvesting addresses in order to sell items or recruit members for other lists. What is posted at CBETC must remain there. Under no circumstances is anyone allowed to forward posts or digests to any other group or individual. Those who ignore this rule will be unsubbed and reported to Yahoogroups.
