Please feel free to use this list to promote your e-mail discussion or mailing lists, or to lurk in the shadows to find some lists that you may be interested in that you never knew were there.

The following kinds of lists will not be permitted:
1. Groups of a sexually explicit nature (Join AdultAdvertise-subscribe@yahoogroups.com - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AdultAdvertise/join for this type of promotion);
2. Chain letters;
3. Competitons and "Get Rich Quick" schemes, etc.

There are no restrictions to the amount of promotions you send, although you must not advertise the same list on this list more than once in a week (Subject to change in consideration of group traffic).

Please note that to help root out and prevent spammers from abusing this list, all new subscribers will remain moderated until they have demonstrated to the moderators they can post properly. This will help to verify the quality of the messages reaching the group. We hope you can appreciate this method - spamming is so annoying, and we feel this is the only way we can stop them from reaching the members of Compulist. All list ads which fit in with the guidelines will be accepted.

Finally, please include the following information when sending your promotions to the list;

1. The name of the list;
2. The subscription information;
3. The age group range;
4. And the address of the moderator/owner.

This helps keep interested people in touch with all the necessary information.
