Our group is committed to knitting, crocheting and stitching caps and lap quilts for individuals battling cancer or other life threatening illnesses or injuries.

Most chemotherapy patients lose their hair as a result of their treatments and they may feel self-conscious when in public. They also lose a great deal of body heat through their heads. The caps that we create are a way to boost their self-confidence, self-esteem and serve as a reminder that someone cares about them. The lap quilts help to keep their legs warm during treatments.

Knitters, crocheters and stitchers of all skill levels are welcome. For those looking for a little inspiration or direction, just drop us a note!
