This group exists to discuss our abilities to freely communicate with one another, across the street, and across the world. Events, governments, corporations, and people, desiring control and money, may be poised to take away freedoms that you and I take for granted in limiting our access to (at least) the Internet infrastructure.

How can we be sisters and brothers to people we do not know unless we can communicate with them? For without communication, there can be no listening. And without listening, there can be no understanding. And without understanding and love, there can be no peace.
