This is the online mailing list for organizers of Coming Out Being Out groups worldwide. Join this group if your town needs its own Coming Out Being Out group and you have a few hours a week to start it up yourself. This is NOT hard. You need no special qualifications other than initiative, an attitude of inclusion, and two or three friends.

This Yahoo group is set up so organizers can download the Facilitator's Guide, the Organizer's Guide (TBA), and marketing materials to use to set up, promote, and maintain your own Coming Out Being Out group in your own town. If you post a question to this Yahoo group, you will receive answers and support from other experienced organizers. We can help with ideas about finding a location, facilitators, and attendees. We provide all the Coming Out Being Out books so facilitators can run a discussion group competently while having fun.

A weekly Coming Out Being Out group is a satisfying way to provide a healthy, welcoming space for men of all ages who are beginning their coming out process or would like to support others. Help your fellow man start the coming out process correctly and with integrity and make community a healthy habit for gay men in your area.

Please note that a Coming Out Being Out group is not a dating service or a therapy group. It is a place where gay men can meet in a welcoming, relaxing space without any expectations of sexual hookups or judgment.
