If you are a current or former member of the "Church of Bible Understanding" or the "Forever Family", you are welcome here. On this group list, we reconnect with old friends and hopefully make new ones. We share our life experiences, vent our grievances about COBU,and share our insights. We seek to support and encourage one another in our journey of recovery from an abusive cult and provide a "safe" atmosphere to openly share without fear of ridicule or judgment. Here are some suggested guidelines:
1. Whatever is shared in the group, stays in the group. Please don’t breach the privacy and confidentially of other members.
2. If you disagree with someone, please do so respectfully and with a reasonable attitude. Hostile & Combative remarks are unacceptable.
3. Remember, we all have something in common and are in various stages on the same journey. Keep it friendly. Please be kind and considerate to all. Enjoy the company!
