The CoHousing movement is gaining momentum amongst persons of all ages, sexes, faiths, political persuasions, etc. in USA.

Many such Community Neighborhoods exist in North America ( USA & Canada) already, and there are stirrings of interest in Mexico.

While many existing CoHousing Communities are planned & built by the Elderly, for the Elderly, there are also many that are Intergenerational.
Further, let us be sure that ' assisted-living ' communities with an HEALTHcare component reflects better the need of the ' aging-in-place ' residents and pays suitable attention to healthCARE in these ' assisted-livingCARE ' communities.

This 62 y/o man wishes to know more & soon re-locate to a CoHousing Community, whether one already ' up & running ' or one formed by 20-30 members ab initio.

The owner of this Group is a M.D., MBA physician-executive with an abiding interest in studying the results of such communities on its citizens. Also, of interest to me is how Quality, Best Practises-based, EBM/evidence-based Medicine/Healthcare with an emphasis on favorable Outcomes/' results ' could be better achieved, at lesser---MUCH---cost, with the current technologies---both IT & Medical---AND, I strongly suspect/theorize can be trended in CoHousing Communities and shown to be better---MUCH---than in the population-at-large.
What we all need is less HEALTHcare & more healthCARE.
