This group has grown from the very successful Cloths for Katrina group begun after the disastrous hurricanes in 2005. As the immediate need for assistance in the Gulf lessened, the members voted to continue a group that by and large would assist in local charitable causes, with the ability to answer an emergency need for cloths in the event of other disasters in the future.
