This group exists for the discussion of DEFINING CLASSICAL CHRISTIAN EDUCATION, i.e., its THEORY, METHODS AND PRACTICAL APPLICATION in today's classroom.

We desire to discuss the history of classical education, the forming of a Christian worldview and how to manifest each of these in our daily teaching in the classroom and in policy making, so that our schools are truly classical & Christian and not just another traditional Christian school.

We do not desire to discuss such topics as how to obtain accreditation, how to start up a hot lunch program or what items to place in first aid kits, but to discuss how we may recover the lost tools of learning so that we may inspire a love of learning in our students and equip them with the tools of learning for the rest of their lives.

Forming a network of people with the same aspirations and concerns regarding education can yield great strength to us all in our pursuits for excellence in Christian education. Please consider joining our group if you are a teacher, a principal/headmaster or a school board member of a classical Christian school and wish to discuss topics falling into the desirable categories listed above.

"...the end of education is not thinking, it is acting. It is not just knowing what to do; it is doing it. The sublime premise of a classical education asserts that right thinking will lead to right, if not righteous, acting." pg. vi
Norms and Nobility, A Treatise on Education by David Hicks
