City Homesteading was begun as a list for people who had a homesteading heart but for one reason or another were not able to buy a huge plot of land in the country and set up a living. It is geared towards learning as well as living to homestead right where you are, right now.

Christian perspectives about homesteadig are overshadowed by ideas of earth worshippers, socialists, pantheists, pagans and other New Age thinkers. we believe that the Bible has answers for living and that christian homesteading offers solutins to a challenge faced by every family in the world: how to cooperate with God as He provides comfortable shelter, good food, clean water and sanitation.
