This group is based around the writings of Daniel Quinn, most notable, his classic "Ishmael". Members here have had their lives touched by his writings and are eager to spread the word about this amazing book in hopes that it will have the same effect on others who read it.

This group has not been moderated in awhile, I know. There are two mods and obviously we have not been doing much to keep this site going. If anyone who is truly interested wants to run this site please post. We need someone dedicated to Ishmael who has the time and ambition to volunteer at least an hour a day to help this group stay active and grow. Also someone who would be interested in organizing real life meetings, potlucks, volunteer activities ect... would be ideal.

I am still interested in being a part of the moderation of this group, I was recently married and no longer need a job outside the home so whoever wants to step up would not have 100% on their shoulders.

Cincinnati Ishmael is (almost) back in business! yay!
