Description

This group is created for those people who share a fascination and interest in churches, the church architecture, the history, the "feel" of the buildings. Share your views and visits, ask on-topic questions of fellow members, and maybe solve that puzzle that has been around for some time! Since being established in June 1999, the list has developed a character of its own - which you are welcome to read in the archived messages. In the Summer of 2000 a sister-group was also launched, churchpictures, to share photos and pictures of churches.

The foundation stone would confirm the date but I don't know the architect. I will ask the vicar if he knows. JR
