Description

This group is created for those people who share a fascination and interest in churches, the church architecture, the history, the "feel" of the buildings. Share your views and visits, ask on-topic questions of fellow members, and maybe solve that puzzle that has been around for some time! Since being established in June 1999, the list has developed a character of its own - which you are welcome to read in the archived messages. In the Summer of 2000 a sister-group was also launched, churchpictures, to share photos and pictures of churches.
The website below shows the sort of information we share.

Mr Neil, Where was the French church in Bristol? Also, incidentally, who was the Bristol diarist you mentioned in connection with Kilvert? Best wishes, Richard
