Welcome! Chubbyville is a group for MIXED MEDIA ARTISTS dedicated to chubby art books and other mixed media art forms.

If you are interested in Mixed Media art and Little Fat Art Books in particular, please apply to join. When you apply YOU MUST LEAVE AN APPROPRIATE COMMENT TO LET US KNOW YOU ARE AN ARTIST or membership will be denied.

Because we are trying to keep everything organized and schedules up-to-date, we would appreciate it if you would please first ask a moderator before posting a swap. We have certain guidelines we ask to be followed to cut down on flakey participation.

We have adopted a "Be Neat, Delete!" policy when responding to messages either directly from the Chubbyville group site, or from your own email program. What this means is we ask people who post to please delete the majority of the message and signature lines from the message being responded to. When you delete the message you are replying to, it will not delete it from the group message board, only from the current message you are responding to. When the message is included in the reply, it at least doubles the size of the message sent. This policy keeps things slim and trim, and much easier for people to follow, whether you choose to get the digest or prefer individual emails. It's just easier to read shorter messages, even from the Chubbyville message board.

It is our sincere hope that we don't have to take action due to lack of good taste in posting. However, we will do so if it becomes necessary. This is a place to have fun and share ideas regarding mixed media art in a small, intimate environment. Please share freely and in a spirit of congeniality.
