This listserve exists as a public forum for Christians who write genre literature. Genre literature is any literature that fits into a cubbyhole such as science fiction, fantasy, allegory, romance, westerns, techno-thrillers, horror, mystery, and others following in the footsteps of other Christian writers such as C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Dorothy Sayers, Charles Williams, Frank Peretti and Stephen Lawhead. However, poets, non-fiction writers and lurkers are very welcome here (however, spammers will be hunted down and eaten). Our purpose is to discuss the mechanics of writing, share ideas, encourage one another and research ways to have our works published. And that's the key ... we are not here to discuss writing as much as to actually write, nor are we here to discuss theology. The basic theology standard for the group will be the historic Apostles' Creed and, outside of those fundamentals, we all agree to disagree. So, as writing is NOT a zero-sum game(your success does not detract from mine and vice-versa), join us today and let's be wordsmiths. We have writing to do!
