Over the past few years, many families have discovered that their child, adopted from China, has a biological twin, full or half sibling that also has been adopted. This group is for families who have adopted from any one of the SWIs within Chongqing Municipality to post photos of their child in hopes another family might see a resemblence to their own child. This includes at least the following: Chongqing, Bishan, Fuling, Hechuan, Nanchuan, Dian Jiang, Guangyuan, Zitong, LiangPing, Qianjiang, Youyang, Yunyang, Xiushan, Jiangjin, Fengdu or WanZhou/WanXian Welfare Institutes
This group also is a place to discuss the issues that may arise as a result of finding a sibling child. While the discovery of a biological relative is both exciting and of profound significance for our children, there are also potential pitfalls and ramifications to be considered. Thus, in addition to providing a safe venue for posting photos and adoption info of our children, this group is also intended to be a safe and secure place
to discuss issues surrounding sibling searches.
